Around 00:00 on the 8th, in the urban area of Nakayubetsu Kitamachi, Yubetsu Town (Okhotsk region), a man passing by in a car spotted a bear about 1.5 meters long and called the police. The bear left south along the road; droppings were found in front of a high school gate and footprints were also discovered.
