On Tuesday, June 30 at around 11:50 a.m., on the Aizuwakamatsu–Mishima main prefectural road in Maenosawa Ko, Kubota, Yanaizu Town, a witness (male in his 40s) driving a vehicle spotted one bear (approximately 50 cm in body length) crossing the road. The bear left into the mountain forest beside the road.
