On Wednesday, June 24 at approximately 4:50 PM, near the Fukushima Prefecture-side entrance/exit of the Higashi-Kuriko Tunnel on National Route 13 in Nakano, Iizaka Town, Fukushima City, a witness (female, in her 30s) observed, while driving, one bear (about 50 cm in body length) crossing National Route 13 from north to south.
