On Wednesday, June 24 at approximately 6:40 p.m., in the Koyama area of Iwane, Motomiya City, a nearby resident spotted two bears walking through a field (one about 1 m in length, the other about 50 cm). The bears subsequently left on foot toward the forested area to the north.
