On Wednesday, June 3, at around 9:00 a.m., on a municipal road in Shiogata Aza Chimako, Minato-machi, Aizuwakamatsu City, a witness (female in her 70s) spotted one bear (approximately 1 m in length) on the road while driving. The bear fled toward the forested area to the south, and its subsequent movements are unknown.
