On Thursday, March 26 at approximately 11:07 a.m., on the premises of Kitashiobara Village First Junior High School (2850 Kamino-dai, Kitayama, Kitaashiobara Village), a witness in a vehicle observed one bear (about 50 cm in body length) climbing the slope on the north side of the grounds. The bear then ran away. No human injuries or property damage have been confirmed.
