Lake inawashira

At around 13:50 on May 4, a single bear about 1 meter long was spotted along Route 49 near Ogasawara Goten-yama (Ogasawa), Inawashiro Town. No human or property damage has been confirmed so far, and the police have warned the public to be cautious.

Around 21:30 on the 7th, a driver spotted one bear (about 1 meter long) on the opposite lane of National Route 49 in Aza Nagurayama, Okinosawa, Inawashiro Town, Fukushima. No injuries or damage have been reported; the bear's subsequent movements are unknown and police are informing the town and conducting patrols.

Around 9:20 PM on Saturday, February 7, in Okomizawa, Oaza Manya, Owazawa area of Inawashiro Town, an observer saw a bear about 1 meter long on the opposite lane while driving toward Koriyama City on National Route 49. Its subsequent movements are unknown.
