At around 08:50 on November 27, 2025, a woman in her 50s in Yayoi (Kuroiwa), Fukushima City, witnessed three bears emerging from brush (one about 1.0 m, two about 0.8 m). No human injuries have been reported, and police are urging residents to be cautious.

Around 2:05 PM on October 24, in Fukushima City, Kuroid area along the Abukuma River embankment, the witness (a man in his 50s) walking observed three bears (one about 1 m, one about 50 cm, two about 50 cm). The bears then moved into the trees beside the riverbank.
