Shibetsu Machi Kirari Jidou Kan

In Shibetsu Town, Hokkaido, on April 4 a single male bear that had emerged from hibernation was captured as part of the prefectural spring management capture. The operation, timed for the snowmelt period when tracks are easier to follow, involved 14 hunters, five of whom were inexperienced, with training and skill transfer also an objective.
