An adult Asiatic black bear (estimated body length about 1.10–1.20 m) was sighted crossing a residential road in Itadoru Aza Teranosawa, Kuroishi City at around 13:00. No damage was reported, and the city warned nearby residents and people working in fields to be cautious, advising not to turn your back and not to shout if encountering the bear.
