At around 22:40 on the 12th, a bear sighting was reported near Ishin Park 3-chome in Yamaguchi City. On Prefectural Road Miyano-Otoshisen about 150 meters from Ishin Miraifu Stadium, a roughly 50 cm bear climbed from the river onto the road and ran away in the direction opposite the stadium; police are monitoring the area.

Around 23:00 on the 6th, a resident woman saw through a window a single bear about 1 meter long digging up soil in a residential property in Yoshiki-Sabata, Yamaguchi City. There were no injuries; multiple sightings have been reported in the area since late October and police are patrolling nearby.

Around 23:00 on November 6, 2025, a resident in Yoshiki-Sabata, Yamaguchi City, sighted a bear about 1 meter long digging soil on their property. There were no injuries; police alerted the city office and patrolled the area, and a later municipal trace inspection suggested the tracks may have been from a wild boar.
