At around 19:15 on November 7, a bear believed to be an Asian black bear was sighted near Umedani Hige-dani in Kizugawa City (about 200 m south from the Nara-Kamo prefectural road onto City Road Ki33 Miyano-yadera-no-shita line). The municipality is urging measures to prevent attractants such as proper garbage management and removal of unnecessary fruit trees.
