While driving from Fujinami toward Udezu, observed three moon bears crossing the road from the hillside to the seaward side; believed to be a mother with two cubs.

While traveling from Udezutsu to Yanagita, on Prefectural Road Udezutsu Town Nosen (Nagasaka), a bear ran down the road center and up into the mountain on the right. Length about 80 cm to 1 m.
