In a wetland where skunk cabbage grows in clusters, there was a loud noise right beside the road where people walk, and when I looked I saw a large black bear fleeing. There were three of us, so we suffered no attack or other harm.

I work at Akita East Hospital. From the window of Ward 1, I could see something that looked like a cub clinging to a persimmon tree in the neighboring house, eating the persimmons. After about 20 minutes, it ate the fruit, then climbed down the tree and disappeared somewhere.
