On Saturday, June 6 at 1:45 p.m., a witness (male, in his 50s), while on duty at a private facility on the premises in Kawageta Aza Tennozaka, Inawashiro Town, spotted one bear (about 50 cm in body length) on the facility grounds. The bear then left heading south into the brush.

At approximately 9:20 a.m. on April 25, a witness observed four bears (body lengths unknown) in a tree near Tatsuzawa Fudotaki waterfall in Honari Otsu, Kanae, Inawashiro Town.

Around 18:00 on the 15th, a single bear about 1 meter long was sighted crossing National Route 49 in Nakayama, Atami-machi, Koriyama City. No injuries were reported, and police are patrolling the area.
