Around 15:30 on the 30th, a male tourist reported seeing a blackish, bear-like animal about 70–80 cm tall in the mountains of Fukakusa Hotōji-yamachō, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto. The Kyoto Prefectural Police's Fushimi station issued a warning, noting that no bears have been confirmed in Fushimi this season.
