On Monday, June 29 at approximately 5:50 p.m., on Aizu Pearl Line in Oaza Ōyanagi, Ōaza Ōyanagi Aza Michiawase Kō, Yanaizu Town, a witness (woman in her 40s) driving a vehicle observed a bear crossing the road (about 50 cm in body length). The bear then departed to the south.

The subsequent movements of the bears are unknown.
