While driving a vehicle, the reporter sighted one bear (about 1 m in body length) in the roadside vegetation.

Around 2:05 PM on October 24, in Fukushima City, Kuroid area along the Abukuma River embankment, the witness (a man in his 50s) walking observed three bears (one about 1 m, one about 50 cm, two about 50 cm). The bears then moved into the trees beside the riverbank.
