At around 18:15 on the 10th, a person walking near the south side road of Morioka Mitake Special Support School in Anaguchi, Takizawa, spotted a bear cub walking on the road and reported it to the police. The Iwate Prefectural Police have urged caution.

Around 17:45 on November 16, 2025, visitors reported sighting two adult bears near the Japanese garden at the Iwate Prefectural Sports Park in Mitake, Morioka. No human injuries were confirmed, and the park office closed the entire park on November 17 for safety.
