[Post] When I was getting off the Akita-Chuo expressway, I looked to the side and spotted a bear running through a rice field. It wasn’t a cub; it was fairly large.

[Post] I think it's the same bear I sighted on the 10th. It has been here since around 2 PM. According to my grandmother who is at home, it seems to have been here yesterday as well. It does not appear to be wary of people.

A cub (about 50 cm) crossed the road. Near a nearby traffic signal, there have been several cub sightings this year, and one seems to still be around.

Post: While driving from Taihei toward Akita, a bear about 80 cm crossed the road from the left, went down into a rice field, and ran off. It climbed a slope and went up onto a broad rural road; its destination is unknown.
