Around 5:00 p.m. on January 1 (Thursday), in an area inside Shinbidōdō Shimoji within Suzurin, Aizu-Misato Town, a witness (a man in his 70s) driving a vehicle observed two bears in the bushes, each about 50 cm in body length. The bears' subsequent movements are unknown.
