On June 28 at approximately 4:15 p.m., in the Tsuchiyu Onsen area of Fukushima City on National Route 115, a witness (female in her 50s) observed a single bear (about 1 meter in body length) while passing by in a vehicle.

At around 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, on National Route 459 in Minamisawa, Suibara, Matsukawamachi, Fukushima City, a witness (male in his 30s) saw one bear (approximately 1 m in body length) while driving. The bear later left and went deeper into the forest.

Around 7:30 AM on October 25, in Nihonmatsu City near Adatara Mountain Shizoe Trail, the witness observed three bears on the trail: one about 1.5 m long and two about 1 m long. The bears then climbed a nearby tree.
