While driving toward the Akita area, a roughly 1-meter brown bear (Tsukinowaguma) was on the left shoulder of the road; it entered the mountains as I passed by.

[Post] While driving toward Akita City, I saw something running across the rice field (or maybe a field?) on the left.

When I went to the field behind my house, the bell I was wearing seemed to startle it; it ran through the rice paddy, crossed the levee along the Omonogawa River, and fled into the woods along the river.

Spotted a small bear in the rice fields near the levee. Made noise to drive it toward the nearby woods, and it ran away.

A bear about 1 m in size was near the south side of the Teradate Community Interaction Center. It passed by the center and ran toward the north embankment road. It descended from the embankment road toward the riverbank and was lost from sight.
