Shiroito No Taki

Black bear, 1m20 long and 0,7m high. Saw during a hiking from Mitsutogeyama to Kawaguchi Asama Shrine. 20-30 before the haha waterfall.

On the morning of November 6, 2025, two bear sightings were reported in Fujikawaguchiko Town, Yamanashi Prefecture. At around 05:20 a bear about 1.0 m long was seen standing on the roadside near the Fujimi Bridge observatory on National Route 137 in the Kawaguchi district, and at around 07:10 a smaller bear was observed crossing a road near the Fujigane area via a vehicle's rearview mirror. The town issued warnings over disaster radio and notified the police and hunters' association.
