Around 4:50 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, in the Shin-Kaihomae area of Sakuramoto, Fukushima City, a witness in their 60s (a woman) saw a bear climbing a persimmon tree (about 1 m in length). The bear then climbed down the tree and walked away to the west.
