Around 9:55 PM on October 4, in Sakura-cho Fukushima City, in a paddy field, a witness (woman in her 30s) driving on a city road observed one bear (about 1.5 m long) cross from right to left (east to west) in front of her. The bear then left to the west into the paddy field, and its subsequent movements are unknown.
