On June 24 (Wednesday) at approximately 5:53 p.m., on National Route 115 in the Kita-mon area of the Oaza Kaiko district, Inawashiro Town, a witness (male in his 40s) observed a bear (about 1.5 m in body length) crossing the road from west to east while he was driving southbound on Route 115.
