Around 06:30 on the 8th, a man in his 70s discovered three persimmons had been eaten on the grounds of a house in Amihari Otsukimori, Nishime, Yurihonjo City. The persimmon tree had broken branches and claw marks believed to be from a bear; the family reported it to the Yurihonjo Police, which regards the damage as caused by a bear.
