On Thursday, March 26 at approximately 10:45 p.m., in the residential premises of a private home in Yachinaka, Tonda, Shiokawa-machi, Kitakata City, a witness (male in his 70s), while at home, heard a noise coming from outside. When he went out through the front door, he saw one bear (about 1 m in body length) under the eaves. The bear then left the property.
