Around 2:00 PM on May 3, in Tennōmura, Omorigahara? (Dai-ji Tenbō 41-2) in the forest south of Kino no Sato Tenei Roadside Station, a man walking saw two bears moving south through the forest (50–60 cm long). No injuries have been reported. The Tenei Village Office provided information, and police patrols were conducted for警戒 and public outreach.
