On the Prefectural Road Tōhibayama-Nadachi Line near Nadachi-Ōmachi in Nadachi Ward (near the Nadachi Ward General Office), a woman driving a car spotted one juvenile bear about 70 cm long heading toward the Nadachi River. (A few minutes later there was a report of a bear—apparently the same individual—seen moving from a paddy field on the opposite bank toward Enno Shrine.)
