On November 11, there were multiple sightings of what appeared to be the same bear in Fukushima City. Around 05:00 a.m. in Sahara a bear was seen in a persimmon tree with traces of eaten fruit; at 08:10 a.m. in Iizaka-yuno/yujiri a roughly 1.0 m bear climbed an apple tree; and at 1:45 p.m. on Route 13 in Iizaka-nakano a bear about 0.5 m long was seen on the road. No injuries or property damage have been confirmed, and police are on alert in the area.
