On March 25 at about 14:30, a single bear approximately 0.3 m long was seen running in a fallow field in Kubohata, Yahata, Inawashiro Town, and then entering the forest. Later the same day at about 17:53, a bear-like animal about 1 m long was observed crossing a village road in Kumakura, Fubuki, Nishigo Village.

On March 25 multiple bear sightings were reported in Fukushima Prefecture. At about 14:30 a small bear was seen running in a fallow field in Inawashiro Town, and in the evening a roughly 1 m long bear-like animal was observed crossing a village road in Nishigo Village.
