Around 5:10 PM on Monday, February 9, in a rice field within the area of Yanagidani-maechi, Sugagawa City, teachers and students who were enrolled at a nearby middle school near the sighting location witnessed a single bear running from east to west inside a classroom (about 1.5 meters in body length).
