At around 12:25 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, in the fields in Fujikubo, Sekiya, Matsukawa-machi, Fukushima City, a witness (male, in his teens) saw one bear (approximately 1 meter in body length) crossing the fields near Kanayagawa Station on the JR Tohoku Main Line while he was walking. The bear then departed south from that location.
