On March 30 (Monday) at around 5:40 p.m., a witness at a private residence in the Asahiderairi area of Aizumisato Town saw one bear (about 50 cm body length) on the property while at home. The witness struck windows and the like, and the bear ran toward a neighboring house’s storehouse. Police and municipal officials checked the scene but the bear was already gone and its whereabouts are unknown.
