A dark mass was seen in the direction of travel, and it was in the grassy area beside the road. When I approached on a motorcycle, it ran into the woods.

By size they were a parent and child, but the cub was fairly large, so at first glance I thought they were three adult bears. They moved from the western to the eastern side of the woods.

A single Asian black bear (Tsukinowaguma), approximately 1.5 m in body length, was encountered while crossing the road. After facing off in place for about 30 seconds, it left and went into the grass.

I saw a cub crossing a wide two-lane road on the way from Lake Towada to Shingō Village. It seemed unsure and unable to cross the road easily, then ran into the mountain on the right.

(Aomori City input) When the car horn was sounded, it ran along the road toward the tourist apple orchard. Body length about 60–80 cm.

While driving on the highway toward the Oirase side, I spotted a bear walking toward the road. It then ran toward us, so I drove straight forward through the area. The bear was in front of the two cars following me, but those two vehicles later avoided the bear and also passed safely. The bear's destination is unknown.

I saw one cub crossing the road about 300 m before the Y-shaped junction where the road to Tsuta Onsen splits from Route 103 and Prefectural Route 256, heading from Yachi Onsen toward Tsuta Onsen. I nearly collided with it.

While heading from Yachi Onsen toward Tsuta Onsen, I witnessed one young bear crossing the road about 300 meters before the Y-shaped junction where National Route 103 and Prefectural Route 256 split. I nearly collided with it.

One bear about 1.3 m crossed the road and ran up into the mountain.

While heading from Sukayu toward Towada, about 200 meters past the golf course entrance a bear came out of the grass onto the road. A motorcycle was coming from the Towada side, so the bear immediately went back into the grass. I parked nearby and confirmed the bear through my window.

[Posted in Aomori City] From within the facility grounds, it climbed over a fence about 150 cm high and ran off into the outside bush (toward Sawayan). It appears to be a small bear cub about 70 cm in size.

Around 7:30 PM on June 7, a bear was sighted in Yasuda, Aomori City.

While driving on Route 7, I witnessed a bear about 1–1.5 m long trotting crosswise toward the museum and then entering the woods. Other cars slowed and waited for it to cross, so quite a few people must have seen it. I’m reporting this because I didn’t find any sighting information posted.

Approximately 30 m past Yokouchi Garden Chapel on Route 103, a bear appeared coming from the east. It turned around using the Garden Chapel’s west-side chain-link fence and then fled back into the vegetation east of Route 103.

While picking up balls during a part-time job at Nashi-no-Ki Golf Garden, I witnessed a young bear (cub) crossing right in front of me. This happened last Thursday. I have confirmed the sounds of a cub several times at the same time of day in the past. I tried posting about it several times before, but it didn’t seem to go through, so although some time has passed since the sighting, I’ll try again.

While working a ball-collection part-time job at Nashi no Ki Golf Garden, I witnessed a small bear cross right in front of me. It happened last Thursday. In the past I’ve repeatedly heard small bears crying around the same time of day. I tried to post about this several times, but it didn’t seem to go through, so although some time has passed since the sighting, I’m trying again.
