At around 06:28 on April 30, 2026, a single bear about 0.5 meters long was sighted near the central divider of National Route 4 in Kunimi Town, Ishiboda, Kunimemae. The bear later left toward the riverbank on the east side of the road; no injuries or damage have been reported.
