At around 06:20 on November 5, 2025, a bear was sighted in Kuriyama, Toyama City, and city officials and the hunters' association are checking the site. The location is on the south side of a store selling agricultural supplies and flower seedlings along Route 41, with Toyama Omnipark and the prefectural general sports park to the west.
