At 15:19, one bear crossed from the gate of Kami-Ashibetsu Elementary School across the grounds toward Kami-Ashibetsu Shrine, but disappeared. It then fled to the western mountains near Keisei Junior High. Disaster alerts posted, website updated, patrols conducted.
