On Monday, May 25, at approximately 6:40 p.m., on Prefectural Road Ide-Nagatsuka in Ino Karasawa area, Ide, Namie Town (specific return/residence area), a witness (male in his 60s) traveling north by vehicle saw a bear (about 1.5 m in length) crossing the road from east to west ahead of him, after which it entered the woods on the west side of the road.
