On Sunday, April 26 at approximately 9:25 a.m., in a forested area of Sakuramoto Aza-Aizawa in Fukushima City, a victim (male in his 50s) was attacked by a bear (about 1 m in length) while collecting wild plants, sustaining injuries to both legs. Further details are currently being confirmed.
