Nikaho’s most recent black bear incident came on April 26, 2026, around 21:00 in Nikaho Mitsumori, where a bear about 1 meter long was seen crossing the road from the east side to the west side near the pachinko parlor intersection. Another sighting in the same area was also reported that evening, showing that Nikaho Mitsumori is still drawing attention from bears moving through the edge of town.
