Around 12:50 PM on March 2, one bear was sighted crossing National Route 103 from east to west near the north side of the Hakkoda Ropeway lower station in Kansumisawa, Arakawa, Aomori City. There were no reported damages; the city urged people to report sightings or tracks and to avoid leaving household garbage outdoors.
