Around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 15, in a warehouse at Oyashiro-cho, Ocho, within Yatsu Town, an eyewitness (a man in his 60s) observed one bear inside the warehouse (approx. 50 cm in length). The bear did not move from inside the warehouse afterward. On Sunday, February 15, in the warehouse at Oyashiro-cho, within Yatsu Town, the bear that had been sighted was captured around 10:50 a.m. There have been no confirmed human or property damages.
