On Wednesday, July 1 at approximately 4:20 p.m., near the Niwatsuka Ohashi bridge in the Matsubara area of Niwatsuka, Fukushima City, a motorist traveling southbound sighted one bear (about 1 meter in body length) crossing the municipal road on the north side of Niwatsuka Ohashi from west to east.
