On the 6th shortly after 13:00 a bear was reported spotted at Numadate Green Park in Numadate 4-chome, Hachinohe City, and shortly after 15:00 the same day one bear was culled in an emergency shooting. It was reported to be the first time a bear was culled by emergency shooting in the prefecture.
