Higashimatsushima's latest black bear report came on May 12, 2026 at Nobirugaoka 1 chome, where a resident saw a single bear about 1 meter long crossing a road after coming out of woodland to the north. Another sighting in the same city had already been logged on May 12, 2026, underscoring that bears are still moving through the wooded edges and nearby roads of this area.
The most active places in this record are Nobiru, Nobirugaoka 2 chome, Hamaichi, and Jogetsutsumi, with repeated sightings around forest edges, bamboo groves, and the roadside fringe. Activity peaked in October 2025 and November 2025, then stayed present through December 2025 and into April 2026, and Higashimatsushima has recorded 44 black bear sightings overall.

4/25日頃、犬の散歩の為愛犬を車に乗せていつものように朝早く浜市の漁協の海苔工場の小屋のあたりに行った帰りに小屋の隣の竹藪の入り口で伏せて寝ている熊を見ました、犬が反応して騒ぐのではないかと心配だったので急いでその場を離れました、とても怖かったです、体長は1.5Mくらいだったと思います、最初はイノシシかと思ったのですが形は熊でした、誰かが見つけて通報してくれるのではと思っていたのですが浜市での目撃情報はいまだにないようです、何事も無ければよいのですが。
東松島市で39件も出没してるんだ、特に11月から12月にかけて報告が相次いでるのが気になる。
